Description

Small mounding evergreen shrub growing moderately fast to 2' tall. Blooms spring to fall with 1" long tubular bright red two lipped flowers. Flowers are arranged in rings around four-sided stems. Attracts hummingbirds. Best in partial shade and does require some moisture in the low desert. Native in moist canyons in Arizona, northern Mexico and Texas.
