Description

This Aloe forms clumping rosettes, each reaching about 2' x 3'. Foliage is fleshy, blue-green, and covered with marginal spines. Flowers are yellow to red and produced in winter. Needs little water, only every other week through the summer. Afternoon shade is best. Native to rocky slopes from 1000 to 3000' in Sudan and surrounding Northwest Africa.
