Aloe dichotoma
Kokerbom
Description
One of the largest aloes, Kokerbom can reach up to 30' x 20'. This species will form a large trunk, and will branch out higher up on the trunk. Leaves are about 12" long, and are a striking blue green color. Yellow blooms appear from January to March. Accepts full sun to partial shade. This aloe requires good drainage, and the trunk needs covering if sustained temeratures below 25 F are expected. Native to South Africa.
